Hotel was clean and friendly, no plobems with checking in or out.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. It is a very well maintained and clean building. Will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

I go on vacation,
I like to take a bath. But, this bath was horrible. the grout was mildewed. The floor in the corners were dirty.
I would not go barefoot! I usually stay at the Hampton Inn up the road and it is 10000 times better.

This hotel met or exceeded my expectations in every way. Location across the street from the hospital, and 10 minutes from downtown Mount Dora was excellent. Very clean rooms, and the lobby lounge had a nice, cozy feel to it. The in-room microwave and refrigerator were a great convenience, as was the free internet access in the lobby area. The complimentary breakfast was good but not great, and after breakfast the only food or drink available was from the vending machines. While the staff was pleasant and helpful, the hotel operated with a skeleton crew, which seemed to work, but keeps it in the moderate status range. As an example, we needed a couple of clean pillows because of a toddler spill. The only person available to call was the guy at the front desk, who could offer pillow cases but not pillows, as long as I could come down to pick them up. The hotel rooms could use freshening. The lobby and hallways are deceptively updated. The rooms are not. My room was a handicap room, so we did not even have a bathtub, but an overlarge shower with no barrier & the shower curtain was not long enough. So, nothing kept the water in & each time we showered, the bathroom floor was flooded. The AC was old and loud. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Clean eating area. Continental breakfast had a large variety of breakfast foods to choose from including hot scrambled eggs and saugage. I do plan on staying at this Best Western the next time I am in the area. ...read more

Clean, new, very helpful staff. nice to be able to pick fresh oranges behind the hotel. across the street from the hospital. road construction was the only issue, hard to get out of entrance.

I was very pleased with my experience at this hotel. Front desk was very helpful at all times. Since we don't care for continental breakfast we went down the road to soup to nuts. Great value for breakfast and great service to boot. ...read more
